From the entrance courtyard, Erik surveyed the front of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The building was spectacular, evoking both a sense of academia and of elegance in equal measure. Though he had seen the brochure for the institute, up until now he had never really stepped foot on its grounds. The brochure though did little justice to the actual school.
Students had paid some attention to the elder man in the slightly out of style trench-coat and hat, as well as to his assistant. By their looks, guests seemed to be not entirely common. Either that or they recognized him outside of his traditional garb. Erik thought that highly unlikely, for if they did recognize him, he assumed they'd be much more apt to run than merely return to whatever they were doing. After all, he was a 'monster', or at least the media had crafted him as such in their writings and segments.
Paying the dark, yet fleeting thought no mind, Erik gestured toward the entrance to the school building. He was not there to start a fight. Had he been, he would have dressed for the occasion. Given his notoriety, Erik did not want to draw too much attention to Charles' school. After all, though they might disagree on execution of philosophy, they both agreed to the safety of mutants. Exodus was with him merely as a precaution. His formidable psionic powers, while not directly equal to Xavier's, were enough when coupled with Erik's own steel will to prevent the other man from trying anything, though he hardly suspected that Charles would stoop to such a level. His 'teachers' however? Another story entirely.
Inside the building, Erik found a directory that showed the way to Charles office. “This way,” he directed toward Exodus as he began down the hall.
