Her back pressed up against the wall, Jessica looked down at the city below.
This was probably crazy. No. This was crazy. She should be home, she should be asleep, or if not asleep she should be watching TV. Except she didn't really watch TV, so she could be reading a book. Jessica had set a goal for herself, and was slowly making her way through a list of The 100 Best Books Of All Time that she had found via google. But she wasn't a home, she wasn't reading, she was hanging off the side of a building in Gotham.
Jessica didn't have any feelings on Gotham really. She knew that a lot of people felt really strongly one way or the other about the city, but Jessica was just neutral. Although, she did like some of the architecture, so she guessed she was maybe a little fond of the city.
She was here, because she had heard that the vigilante that called himself Spider-Man had moved to Gotham. And she wanted to talk to him. But she realized that tracking down a vigilante wasn't always easy, so she had prepared herself for the fact that she might have to come back to this city for repeat visits. So in the name of that she had actually gone shopping for this little trip. Jessica wasn't on SHIELD business, so she hadn't wanted to wear any clothes with the SHIELD logo on it so that ... left her with clothes that she normally wore for lazing around the apartment, or for going out. So she had gotten black pants, a black T-Shirt, a black leather jacket, and had her hair tucked up under a black toque. She did worry that she might look a bit like, oh a bank robber, so she had her SHIELD ID in her back pocket, but was hoping that she didn't need to show it tonight.
Deciding that she needed to change her vantage point, Jessica quickly twisted herself around, so she was facing the wall - all the better for scaling the wall. She crawled upwards, heading for the edge of the roof, so she could haul herself over the edge, and up onto the roof its self.
