For the first time he could remember, he was enjoying himself; it was slightly small-spirited to laugh at the idea of Pepper's panic, but he could picture it and she was cute when she thought he was about to do bodily harm to himself and the rest of the building, working herself into an often indignant shield for him and herding him away before he could hurt himself worse. Usually, he was smart enough to admit that he needed it.
