"Pft, you wish your home was this quiet." Dinah teased Roy under her breath but turned to wave briefly at the kids calling her name.
"I don't think your sensei dismissed you hooligans." She called to the kids with mock seriousness, and gave Lian's had a reassuring squeeze when she felt the little girl step slightly behind her where she could stay close to both Dinah and her Daddy. Dinah didn't call any attention to Lian's sudden baby-shyness though, she'd come around when she felt like it and there was no need to push her. She was pretty outgoing kid anyway, she'd probably be running circles around the place in five minutes.
She caught Roy's look at the 'girlfriend' comment and gave him a Look along with the most subtle shake of her head. They were not dating, this was not a 'boyfriend-meets-kid' kind of thing. No matter what the students seemed to think.
"Sorry." She said, waving her hand and commented on her lack of properly introducing them. She'd been distracted. "Danny, Roy. Roy, Danny. Danny's brilliant with martial arts and owns the school. " She explained as the two shook hands, "Roy's my ex's son and like family to me. And Lian..." Dinah said, resting her hand on the back of Lian's head affectionately. She was so sweet. "... is planning to be a Dinosaur Ninja Princess when she grows up. D'you think you have any moves to help with that, Danny?"
