Dinah hid her grin at Lian's serious business face. She was just so danged cute, that kid.
"I'm good." She replied, ducking under his arm and pushing Lian gently in ahead of her, still holding her hand. "Thanks. Nothing much new to report, I don't think. Got to see Mia last weekend, so that was good. She seems... better." Dinah told him with a soft smile. Clearly she was less worried about Mia than she had been the last time they'd talked on Halloween.
"What do you think?" She asked Lian once they were all inside, crouching down to help her out of those cursed mittens and big, poofy, Nannuk of the North winter coat. Honestly the kid looked like she was going hiking in the Himalayas, not out for a brief walk from car to school-- but Dinah really couldn't blame Roy. She'd be covering Lian in hats and scarves too.
