*rhodey's uniform is actually green, I forgot he's an army pilot not an airforce one :P
"Right, gotcha" Rhodey replied, letting it lie. He was being playful, but he wasn't about to pry into her personal life. Still, he thought he saw a glint in her eye that quickened his pulse. Despite her dress, she was most definitely not a delicate flower.
When she mentioned the armour, Rhodey shrugged. "Yeah well, he owed me for all the scrapes I've gotten him out of over the years."
The light changed and Rhodey led her across the street, taking a right a block later. "You're a consulting florist? So what, you psychoanalyze flower arrangements?" he asked cheekily.
Soon enough, they were in front of Casa Mono. Opening the door for Dinah, he followed her inside. The small space was quickly filling up, but they still managed to get a table by the window. As he took his seat, the waiter arrived and asked what wine they'd like, to which Rhodey gestured at Dinah. "The Ladies' choice."
Unbuttoning his jacket, he looked out the window at the street. "You know I never really cared for Gotham, but I think it's starting to grow on me." He said, glancing back at Dinah. "At first it seemed a bit brooding and overwhelming, you know? But there's a lot of beauty to the place if you look under the surface..." he said, almost to himself.
He refocused on Dinah. "Why would Bruce think you needed setting up?" he asked aloud, tilting his head. "You can't have trouble getting noticed."
