"We've met a couple times." She answered honestly, "But I think it's more of a friend-of-a-friend thing. I know Bruce better than I know Tony." Far better. and giving him a playfully flat look that dared him to ask what her relationship was to either Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne... not that there was one, but Dinah didn't have any compunctions about playing with people's perceptions.
"A suit of armor for the Pentagon?" She repeated with a grin, "You really must be Tony Stark's friend." She teased, stopping at the intersection, barely sparing a glance at the light before she looked back at James.
From what they'd been talking about so far and his reaction when she asked after Tony, she felt fairly comfortable assuming that he didn't know about her status as an Avenger, or how she might be acquainted with Tony or Bruce for that matter-- and for now, she planned to keep it that way.
"I'm a florist. Well, I used to be. Now I do consulting work." She gave a conspiratorial crinkle of her nose, "Still a florist at heart though, I think."
