Dinah, who had been in the middle of a sip of Hal's ex-drink, nearly jumped out of her skin and jumped out of her chair instead. She had not been prepared for Danny Rand to walk into Warrior's, and over to she and Hal's table right when she was in the middle of talking about him. Him and the other blonde billionaire.
So far, he hadn't mentioned it-- and, with any luck, he'd been too far away and the bar had been too noisy for him to hear them... but Dinah somehow doubted her luck was that good.
And it wasn't. A brief look of panic crossed her face when he held out her bracelets and Dinah's hand went to her wrist instinctively, half to check that she really had forgotten the jewelry at Danny's school and, more subconsciously, to make sure the wicked scars around either wrist were covered by the long sleeved sweater she wore.
But she forced the panic back down as she reached out and took her jewelry back from Danny with a grateful smile and slipped them back on over her hands, "Oh, wow, thanks. I didn't even realized I'd left them." She said.
Turning to Hal, she just hoped he wasn't too trashed to be nice to her friend. Or at least nice-ish. And hopefully wouldn't talk about how she should sleep with Danny.
"Hal Jordan, Danny Rand." She said pointedly in Hal's direction, hoping he would get the message. "Danny, Hal Jordan. Hal is one of my oldest and very best friends. He's visiting from Coast City. I was just telling Hal about the School of Thunder..." Which wasn't a lie per se. "Here, sit, have a drink with us." She said, pulling out one of the extra chairs and pushing the empty glasses aside to make room for Danny at the table.
