"I'm sure if I told the guys and girls at work that we needed a monkey for some reason, that they would come up with a reason for me...." Yes, Ted was mostly joking but part of his brain was now worrying over how he could possibly justify a monkey at work.
He gave a quick shake of his head, right, no monkey. There was no need for a monkey and really it was a bad idea. He knew that.
"A jiggly kitty? Is that the official breed name?" He teased, and then took a bite of his own hot dog. So he almost choked when Karen came out with; 'You li-i-ike her'.
"I mean - I do like her." He made a point of making it one syllable. "I'm sure you would too - she's very nice."
