Karen smirked. Fashionable, she was not. Sure, she knew how to dress herself and make herself look good, but she was not, as they say, fashion forward like some people, typically she just wore comfortable clothes and the other half the time, she was wearing her Power Girl costume. Or sometimes both at once, which mean her outter clothes needed to be comfortable to conceal the fact she was wearing a costume beneath them. Like now.
Karen set one of her dogs aside while she bit into the other ones. "Please get a monkey. Please get a monkey and then get a web cam that I have access to." Karen flashed him an award-winning smile. It sounded like a great idea to her, at the cost of poor Ted's sanity - really, what could go wrong?
"He's my cat," she explained. "This was before I relocated to New York and didn't have an apartment. I was spending a lot of time at the office." That is, living there. "And then once I found a place I didn't have the heart to move him. Maybe I will. An office is no place for a jiggly kitty."
Karen took time to wipe her mouth and then looked up and over at Ted. "Nice?" Her eyebrows went up. "You li-i-ike her," she held the word out for three syllables. "Mmhm, I can tell."
