"I should sue. But first I will see just how awful it is. Though honestly if there is not a dragon of some sort to be had in the film I am going to be disappointed."
She smiled, she agreed, and she said it would be fun. But Danny knew her well enough and was perceptive enough otherwise to read that there had been a touch of hesitation within her still, somewhere beneath the surface. And in a way, he understood. It kind of threw him as he thought about how well they would likely get along outside of kicking the tar out of each other, but for him the realization was more of a welcome one.
In the end though he decided that he did not want to jeopardize what they had going by complicating matters, and so in answer to her question he just sort of regarded her with a thoughtful expression, by answering, "Maybe sometime next week. If we have time, you know. As if that ever happens."
He got up, polished off his cup, and stooped to set it down on the mat before straightening again. "You're welcome to chill as long as you like, but I think I'm going to hit the showers. Unless there was anything else?"
