Sure, she knew how to be ladylike, it had been instilled in her by her mother since she was old enough to understand the girls were supposed to act one way, and boys another. And while she did wear skirts and heels, knew how to sew and tried not to burp in public-- Dinah also took giant bites when she thought no one was looking, wiped her hands on her pants, even pristine white gi pants, enjoyed beer and worked on motorcycles. She was just as comfortable dressed up for a fancy date as she was in stained jeans and, to her mind, all the better for it.
She gave him a small, but genuine smile when he nudged her knee, followed by a wry chuckle, "Stop making so much sense, would you?" She teased, but she was glad he was giving her time to think about it. It was definitely something that she wanted to serious consider because she saw what good was being done-- and it was an honor that Danny would ask her to begin with. It was all the other stuff in there that made it difficult to say yes.
When he changed the subject, she reached for another piece of pizza,and let the thoughts on his offer settle in the back of her mind for now.
