"I would appreciate assistance with clothing. By someone who does not expose too much skin, if possible."
She watched him, looking at him working with interest. Technology was so easy for him. "I was hoping there was a legal means of doing so, though. Especially since I do not wish to cause you any trouble. I... have no home to go to anymore. Azarath was destroyed four years ago."
At the querying sensation, she tipped her head forward. "Azarath was a realm of peaceful sages. They had left Earth long ago, created a sanctuary of peace and learning. They had cast out all their negative emotions into a dark limbo, creating a paradise."
Her purple eyes lift. "But every light casts a shadow. The brighter, the more stark the darkness. The beautiful white of their world created another, sinister and dark, molded from the very darkness they had cast away. At the forefront of this realm was Trigon, my father." She took a sip of her coffee, lashes low over her eyes once more. The cup was set down with a gentle tap as she continued, her hands close on the warm mug. "Trigon had been summoned here once, briefly, by some less-knowledgeable cultists. My mother was an unfortunate among them. He left her with child. The Azaratheans took her in, and I was born and trained among them."
"So I was never really legal here. I visited before, when I was a younger teenager. It was necessary to see how good of control I had over my emotions. Then again I came here when I was eighteen. Unfortunately, a friend of mine was murdered. Robin, the younger." She had no knowledge he had survived his brutal beating at the hands of the Joker. "I had to return home. I could not keep control with the grief. Unfortunately, even there, I could not. Trigon took advantage of the link, made stronger by my weakness, and invaded. As a result, Azarath was turned to ashes." A paradise undone by its own rejection of darkness, and the darkness swallowed it. All the prophesies and dark omens of her birth had become true, despite all efforts to prevent it.
"For the last four years, I have sought solace among the planes and distant planets, giving myself time to recover. Only once I was certain the demon's seal was secure and he could no longer pursue me with his minions did I return here." She tilt her head at him bird-like, eyes impassive. "So you see... I have no identification here. I am a refugee."
