"I'm trying." Bart insisted grumpily, unable to run at full speed for fear of igniting the gas throughout the sewer. He coughed twice at the feeling of something other than clean(ish, it was Gotham after all) air in his lungs and back pedaled as fast as he dared.
When he finally came to a more open intersection, Bart kicked on the speed and ran through the tunnels back to where he'd left Damian.
"Whoa." He said, pausing at the sight of the dead body at his feet. It was sobering, to say the least, and thanks to his eidetic memory, it wasn't something he would be forgetting.
But they didn't have time to reflect on that now. Bart took the unconscious man from where he lay, boosting him up onto his back piggyback style then looked over at Damian, "Can you get the other one? The whole place is filling with gas. I think it's going to blow up."
