"I only splurge in Gotham when I feel like going on a spree," Ivy replied, sipping her own drink. Drinks with a friend...it seemed like such a strange holdover from a life far behind her. Just one of those little things she did to maintain good contacts. And Jade was a good contact. It took a certain type of person to even be able to sit in the same room as Ivy. Being knowledgeably about poisons made the conversation between them easy. Ivy being immune to nearly any concoction Cheshire cooked up didn't hurt either. "Diamonds...champagne...hostages."
She drummed her fingers on the table. "There's only a certain type of place you can trust for a quiet night on the town." She took a sip of her drink and set it back down. "I met someone interesting. She...was almost stealing my act."
