"Michael Carter. Great. Great to meet you." He added, also trying not to stare at Barda.
Scott quickly turned his attention back to the guest when he shouted that he brought drinks, and was relieved when Barda put the couch down and came over to at least pretend that she wasn't going to kill anyone today.
"Michael, this is Barda. Barda, this is our neighbor Michael." He said by way of introductions and left off any last names-- considering how 'Barda' was her last name, if you considered 'Big' to actually be someone's name instead of just an adjective describing them... then again, with Barda, it would work either way.
Scott even shot her a thumbs up over Michael's shoulder when she said it wasn't necessary for him to bring drinks. She probably could have made it sound a little more friendly and less like a threat... but hey she was talking to him at least- and not just demanding he leave before she wrung his scrawny neck.
This was a vast improvement in Scott's book. And he didn't notice it himself, but he smiled at her. He was glad of her.
