All Jen could say was that she was thankful that Kyle was agreeable to do this. She didn't want to keep it all hush hush and clandestine, but the circumstances needed to be ideal to be able to tell her twin who had a less than sunny disposition about things. And until that time they needed to cool their jet, so that they weren't, also, sneaking around behind his back. Because that would not have been cool either. She was glad that Kyle deferred to her on this matter, Todd was her twin after all, she'd like to think she knew him the best out of anyone and wanted to tell him gently what was going on because this would almost assuredly change their living dynamic going forward. And Jennie wanted to make sure everyone was satisfied.
They both beat Todd home that evening, but that was nothing usual. He worked long hours, Kyle had a more typical nine-to-five and Jennie made up her own schedule. But the waiting was making her anxious about everything, which was apparent the way she only half-smiled at Kyle and then gave his hands a squeeze.
"Yeah," she said quietly, considering the situation and all possible outcomes. Worse case scenario was that Todd would be livid, he'd leave and never come back... But that was bottom line. And Jennie sincerely hoped it did not get to that level. So anything short of that she'd chalk up to a success. "Well, it is Todd," she mumbled and then gave a shrug. Who knew how he would react?
