Sorry for the delay!
"Clark came to you for a reason, Bruce. He did not need words, he needed a friend who's presence does more than any words could." It still pained her to think of how Clark at suffered and how she had not been there to lend her hand. Of course, if she had been present, things could have turned out very differently and no one could say for better or worse.
The arrival to the cave left a chill, but the woman walked without hesitation to the elevator. This had never been her domain. Without Bruce's presence, she would have felt out of place.
Diana watched the way he avoided her as he spoke and felt the corner of her mouth tug upwards. His fidgeting was a precursor to his words, be they proud or uneasy. This boy, his son, gave him hope. It gave him a greater purpose and a greater fear. The boy sounded like an unpredictable force. It would take a lot of time and dedication to ensure that his training be curbed to fall in line with Batman's code.
She stepped forward slowly, her stride equaling his, and placed a gentle hand to his shoulder. "I would like to meet him," she said sincerely. "And extend to you now an offer of training. A strong warrior must have many teachers." She drew her hand back and walked away from him to inspect the penthouse.
"No, thank you." She waited until he had his drink before proceeding. "I do not know what joke fate is playing, but it is a refreshing one. You discover the existence of your son and I learn of the existence of my father." There was no hollowness nor anger in her tone, simply acceptance. Diana had coped with her lineage, though she had not prepared for the reaction of others in making such a confession. She had boasted from the earliest of their days to be pure Amazonian. Now she was left admitting to a lifetime of fallacies.
"My father is Zeus and my siblings are...numerous."
