The reveal of the car caused Diana's head to cant and she found herself smirking. It would not have been a return to the world of man if Batman did not have something new. It was an impressive sight and something she knew he would be proud of, though she did not give him the satisfaction of verbal approve. Instead, she gave a single, approving nod and moved to the passenger seat. What would he acquire next? An invisible jet?
"I am sorry to hear about Tim," she said solemnly. The boy was as gifted as he was kind, such unfortunate events should never had been forced upon him. Nor on Clark. As Batman informed her of what had befallen her friend, she found herself tense and frustrated. "Clark has always been too critical of his actions," she replied, her words holding a far-off tone. No matter what she said to Bruce, it would not change what ill-fate had befallen her friend. Clark was innocent, she did not need to see the footage to know that, but only he could truly free himself from the shackles his honor had bound him with.
And then another wave of startling information. Her brow snapped together and she turned her full attention on him. "I was only gone a year. I was not aware you were that close to someone in that time." For a moment, she wondered if he had purposefully kept such information quiet, but quickly concluded that it had to be something more. Something deeper and darker. "Tell me about him."
