Dinah did not blend in with the Gotham crowd. Her blonde hair alone made her stand out from the sea of brunettes. Coupling that with her love of clothing with more colors than the black/white spectrum and the fact that she had a smile for everyone made her stand out even more.
So she wasn't difficult to spot when she arrived three minutes past seven, wearing a wine colored coat and a butterscotch dress. It was a far cry from the little black dress she'd worn a few weeks ago, but no less pleasing, and certainly more fitting to the setting.
She kept her hands in the pockets of her coat to ward off the chill that had settled over the state after the hurricane as she approached, but removed them to greet Carter, moving in behind him as he held the door open for the other couple. She touched his arm just above the elbow by way of greeting and to draw his attention.
"Sorry, I'm late. Everything's still a little wet."
