Things, houses, money-- these things didn't impress Dinah they way they might another girl. She'd spent enough time around m/b-illionaires to know that money did not make the man. She had lived with a billionaire and struggled through bankruptcy-- and now, with enough financial independence to actually say that she was "content", it was very difficult to impress her with material things (except a good car on occassion). What did impress her though, and always had, was passion. A man with passion... now that was right up her alley.
And if Carter was willing to forgo keeping his own house for the opportunity to go adventuring--- well that sounded like passion in her book.
Something about her then.... something that wouldn't end with 'also I sometimes put on fishnets and fight crime'. God it had been a long time since she'd dated spent time with someone outside of the superhero community. How did people do this anyway?
