Re: Lex Luthor
Reed stood back and let Tony do the talking. Or flirting. Wait, was he flirting? Reed had never been particular good at figuring out when people were flirting, men or women. In fact, if it hadn't been for Susan's patience and forth-rightness... well, there was a reason why she was the only girl for him.
While Tony flirted, Reed looked around idly, not bothered by being ignored, though when he turned, he caught sight of Luthor and gave a tight nod. Their last meeting had not gone particularly amicably, but at least they knew where they stood-- Reed knew Luthor was an intelligent, powerful, deceitful and dangerous man, and Luthor would know Reed as the man who continuously thwarted such a mind and power as Victor von Doom. All in all, the playing field was fairly even.
Reed nodded his thanks for the invitation into the office and followed behind Luthor without looking back at Tony.
