Re: T'Challa/The Black Panther
T'Challa was in his office, going over his itinerary for the next few months, when a his assistant opened the door. "Your Eminence, Dr. Richards and Anthony Stark are here to see you." T'Challa's eyes widened in surprise "Indeed?"
Rising, he threw his data pad to his desk, and swept out past his assistant. The embassy was nearly finished, with a few crews finishing up the paint and security systems. Most of the furniture he passed were covered in white sheets, with scaffolding on the winding staircase he currently descended.
What reason could Reed have for visiting with Stark? If it were one of Reed's usual projects, a simple phone call would have sufficed. An invitation to join the Avengers would have been Stark alone or with another teammate. This was something else, something important enough to necessitate both Starks' AND Richards' presence.
Reaching the ground floor, T'Challa pushed open the door to the T'Chaka Room. This part of the Embassy was finished, with beautiful pieces of Wakandan artwork. A large portrait of T'Challa's father in ceremonial Black Panther garb gazed down from above. Exquisite tables, couches and chairs were scattered around the room.
T'Challa approached the two men and held his hands wide. "Reed, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Turning, he held out a hand to the other man. "Mr. Stark, a pleasure to finally meet you. I am a great admirer of your work."
