Midnighter didn't really enjoy having people over, but it was something he'd grown accustomed to once Apollo had learned the joy of serving dinner to guests. The spread was always delicious and he took extra care to make things look nice, so Midnighter wasn't going to be an asshole and grump through the whole thing. He didn't have a problem with their small circle honestly, but Apollo was far more social than him. That's why he stood out of the way as Apollo finished making things perfect.
He got up from where he was seated once he heard the knock at the door. He could hear the two of them talking as he pulled it open to look at them. "Ted and Mike," he said looking at each of them in turn. "Come in." Midnighter stepped out of the way. It wasn't hard to see which was which. Ted was considerably less scrawny as a grown man, which was good. He wondered if Apollo realized who Ted Kord was. He knew.
"Apollo just finished cooking. Do you guys want a beer?" He didn't bother announcing them, just walking them into the living room and waving at the seats if they wanted to sit down.
