He shrugged and had another sip from the glass, looking more relaxed than he ever did at work. It had taken a little while for him to be able to feel relaxed outside of work, but the private space helped. And now with Maria's company, which he did enjoy even if she was a bit grumpy, along with a full stomach a drink after, he felt very content.
"You don't know what you're missing," he said with ease as he looked up at her when she returned. "A good soak helps clear your mind, and put the important things in perspective. And I know, I know," he gave her a light smirk now, somewhat teasing in his attitude. "The Deputy Director always has a clear mind even when it's cluttered, and everything is important."
His attitude was almost flirtatiously casual as he stood, draining his glass giving her another light smile. "Then if you won't be using the bathroom for a bit, I think I'll indulge." He set the empty glass in the sink before moving across to the bathroom. "Try not to make too big of a mess, Hill. Or I'll start charging you housecleaning fees." And the door shut behind him and his soft chuckle, the muffled sound of water running coming next.
