Billy rubbed the back of his neck as he pondered Bart's dilemma. That did certainly sound kind of familiar, at least the part about thinking that he'd done something wrong.
He snorted lightly and stuck his hands in his pockets. "I'm not an expert on this whole thing... but the way I see it, unless you've had loads of experience, which I'd hazard a guess you haven't, you're going to make mistakes. Or rather, what you think are mistakes. I've found that, as long as both sides are on the same page, those hiccups end up being funny little jabs when one is feeling particularly playful." He gave a pointed, yet playful glare at Teddy as he finished before smiling a little insincerely.
"Trust me on this... until the two of you know each other... well... like that, you're going to do things or have things done to you that are awkward and you or they don't like. I... can't really say much more without knowing more, as honestly bud, that was a bit light on the info."
