He did not hear her come in, even with the sound of the door and the fact that she had been on the phone. No. He was far too busy looking around his former room in wide eyed wonder, trying to figure out exactly where all of his own things had gone. Because yeah, losing his clothes kind of sucked, but he could deal with that. It was all of his various art projects that had been laying around that really concerned him, regardless of whether he ever had any intention of actually taking the time to finish them all. But as the reality of it all began to set in and he realized who the culprit of all of this had to certainly be, he also realized that she would not just throw his things out.
...At least, he was pretty certain she wouldn't.
That he was still holding onto her panties absently as she came into the room and he finally noticed her did not really cross his mind at all, until her question hit him. His head turned to her, his eyes went down, and then back up again as the full predicament bloomed before him. He supposed he should have been embarrassed, or ashamed in some way. But after traveling across space to be here, dealing with his boss, and finding his apartment completely changed, he felt so out of it that it did not occur to him that he should feel badly about this.
After an awkward silence, he just shrugged, opening up one of the lacy bits against his thigh. "What's it look like I'm doing?"
Looking between the pairs, he shrugged again. "I don't know, pink or white. What do you think?"
"I need to find a shirt, too. Todd must have one somewhere in here. And then you can show me your room, maybe. Or better yet, mine."
If he was at all angry with Jen, or if she had any such concerns, the little smile that formed on his lips as he took a step toward her would more than likely betray his mirth.
