At first, Doug thought Batgirl perceived Raven to be a threat. Then he realized it wasn't in the sense of a criminal. There was jealousy in her movement, and accusation in the muscles around her eyes as she looked between the two of them.
His eyes widened in surprise, but it was followed by a sudden guilt. He wasn't sure an explanation for why he was running around would be good, but Doug had to do something. "This is Raven. She's looking for her friends." Then he put his hand on Batgirl's back, just a light touch, tender. /it's okay. you know how I feel about you... right?/
Then he dropped his hand, unsure, and cleared his throat. "Raven, this is Batgirl. She might know where your Robin is."
He looked at the two of them, then decided to bury his face in his phone and look for an address. Hacking on a less-than-smart phone was a bit more of a process. He missed his old one.
