Batgirl continued to watch Doug and the woman talk, trying to get a handle on her own raging emotions. She supposed she could blame it on the stomach cramps -- which she'd insisted weren't bad enough to sideline her from patrol duty -- but still. There was her boy on the rooftop, where he promised he wouldn't be, talking to some woman who wasn't her.
She forced herself to see through the fog of jealousy. Neither one of them seemed particularly attracted to the other. The woman definitely seemed aloof. It was a simple conversation about who knew what. Maybe she was asking for directions.
Then Doug's body language changed. There. Eyes widening, cheeks darkening. Arousal, affecting the way he moved and stood. Attraction. It even seemed to be directed toward her. Why, that little--
He showed the woman something on his phone. Zooming in with her cowl's eyepieces, she caught a brief glimpse of a woman, barely clad, before the screen scrolled down to a block of text. A telephone number and words she couldn't read. That just annoyed her even more.
Before she could stop herself, she leaped off the rooftop, gliding down to their rooftop like an avenging angel. She landed in a crouch before them, snarling with her body language. "What. Is going. On?"
