Well at least someone was here. Paige brightened considerably when Reed popped his head up over the cabinets - and barely refrained from making a startled noise when she realized that he was stretching over the top of them. Granted, she'd know that the Fantastic Four were, well, quite talented but it was something else to watch them in action. In person, that was. It was also really cool that they were well-liked for having powers. And famous. And really, she wasn't going to fangirl anyone on the first day. That was just undignified.
"Yes, sir. Paige Guthie." When he came over, she took the offered hand and shook it with a smile, more excited than nervous on her first day although there was a healthy dose of both right now. "Ummm, yes. I think so. He's very...helpful." That was a safe way of phrasing it.
She followed after him for the tour, taking the lab coat and slipping it on. It was a bit big in the shoulders and the arms but it would do for now. She could probably just alter it herself if she really needed to. "Thank you." Politeness was at least drilled into her since pretty much birth, especially when it came to your employer, so she had no problem listening to him go through the random bits of knowledge about the lab.
Paige just blinked at him when he asked her age. "Yes, sir? I'm 24." Well, technically she had just turned 24 but there she was.
