Mick let out a grumble of agreement. The last two affairs had been global phenomenons but there was always something. New York seemed to attract the crazy too. No wonder newspaper sales constantly broke records. The city proper seemed to have a giant bullseye on it, despite (or maybe because of) the number of heroes flying around,
It wasn't as if Keystone and Central City didn't have their problems but it was just different. There a guy knew what to expect. Some property damage, a few jobs, and a scarlet speedster running around. It wasn't perfect (just take a look at Iron Heights) but even the crazy was kind of familiar. The Rogues never felt like they were out of their weight class.
