She smiled softly. "I have a degree in accounting, but that wasn't what I meant." Studying the lines in his face, the way his muscles tensed and his eyes were distant in spite of the fact that she was sitting next to him. He was flirting, or giving her that smile that insinuated he knew what she looked like naked, or was imaging the same right now, or both. He was barely looking at her, which wasn't completely out of the ordinary, but Pepper knew his attitudes.
"Tony." Putting her hand on his forearm, she waited till his eyes met hers. Once they had, she slid her tablet closer and slid the screen over to her calender, making sure he was watching before selecting the day's schedule and deleting it. She'd make apologies for everything they missed later.
She stood up. "Wash your hands," she told him. "Change. Wear something to swim in, and something to hike in over that. Meet me in the garage by the Range Rover in 30 minutes, no arguments.
"And in case you're planning on standing me up - I'll be wearing a bikini." Turning before he could ask questions, she left to go home, change and throw some things together before meeting him.
