Where: Central Park, NYC
When: 9/23
What: Ivy does some people watching.
Rating: PG-13
Ivy still wasn't feeling well since her imprisonment. That was why she had made the trip from Gotham to New York. Central Park was a massive expanse of green, a place where she could absorb everything the sun had to give her and get back in touch with the Green. In addition to recuperating, she spent a good chunk of her time people-watching. What was that old phrase about knowing the enemy?
She watched them mill about like cows. So predictable. So malleable. She pressed her sunglasses up the bridge of her nose and tucked a curl back up into the scarf she wore around her head. She was sure people this far from Gotham wouldn't recognize her, but it never hurt to be cautious. New York was supposedly crawling with well-intentioned do-gooders, and the last thing she needed was to leave behind one of their corpses in broad daylight.
