"Come in," came Wanda's voice. It was a happy mixture of content and joyful, much different from the tired tone from yesterday. It was obvious she had gotten a good amount of rest since the somewhat difficult, but completely successful birth.
Stepping in, Teddy would see numerous flowers and small gifts scattered about, filling the plain white room with bursts of colors. Wanda was propped up on her hospital bed with a bundle of blankets - obviously housing the baby - held up to her breast. Upon closure inspection, one would see the child suckling contently, eyes fluctuating between wide awake and drooping depending on the sounds and movements around her.
"Teddy, it's wonderful to see you," Wanda greeted with a bright smile. Her gazed drifted over his shoulder, hoping to possibly catch a glimpse of Billy and/or Tommy. Her smile lessened when she realized he had come on his own, but quickly returned to its previous brightness.
"I hope you don't mind that I'm feeding Eira." She knew some people felt weird about seeing a woman nursing a child. "She should be finished in not too long."
