The transportation was a little unnerving as this had been the first time Dick was subjected to it. It was more than just mere teleportation though. Had they been taken to another dimension? Another time? Surely Bruce had thoughts about this. Which meant that it was up to Dick to keep his eyes and ears open for any clue about what day and year they were. Maybe if he was to scan for any satellite activity he could see what information about this world was available.
As Mojo launched into his speech, Dick's eyes narrowed and he took in every bit of information possible. Vampires? Really? Sure, there was a file in the cave on them but Dick had never run into one face-to-face. He was going to be unprepared for this in actual experience. However, as a teen, he'd read Bram Stoker's Dracula. Bruce had given him the beginnings to a wonderful book collection and Dick had spent many a night (at Alfred's request) reading. That had been one of the first books Dick ever finished and he remembered quite a number of facts. Luckily for them, he wasn't the only one.
"Bats I can deal with." Hell, for that matter, he would often play games in the cave to imitate the bats movements and attempt to catch them. It had all been in good fun until Alfred had put an end to it. Apparently the creatures did not like being roused during their sleep and it had caused quite a...downpour...of bat by product. The faithful butler hadn't been happy about that.
"Hawkeye is right." Robin began as he stocked up on what was needed and what he could best utilize. Bruce had given him a strict no killing policy which he believed in wholeheartedly. So every bladed weapon was left where it lay. What he did stock up on was silver and holy water. He'd feel better if there were more Holy Water and with that in mind he scanned the streets for signs of a chapel or house of worship. "Though it's not just a crucifix he can't stand but any symbol of faith." He added in case any of the new arrivals were devoutly religious. "If this is based off of Stoker's then he'll be able to pass through walls, transform at will into Bats," Robin said with a nod to Kate, "And fog. So keep an eye out for that. Ingesting his blood will turn you as well and you'll susceptible to his control."
"More importantly," Robin continued, his hands tucking items away into his utility belt. Luckily for him he had several incendiary capsules on his belt in case things got dicey. "Vlad is able to bend and break the minds of those to his will. In the books Renfield was compelled and controlled by him. Who knows if Vlad's been busy making more. These are normal humans. Detain them. They may have information we need."
"When everyone's ready we'll make for the castle." Robin said, already slipping into the role of leader. That said, he took to the roof tops, bounding off the side of the cart and moving for higher ground. A pair of binoculars slid from his belt and he surveyed the land a head. It would be annoying but doable.
