Who: Bruce and Tony NPC: Alfred Where: Gotham, NJ When: Monday, Sept. 10th - day What: Tony gets his heart examined in the Batcave Rating: PG-13 for language?
Two challenges, one right after another. Bruce was in an incredibly bad mood because of it, but at least it seemed there would finally be some respite in which to take care of some other business. He was pleased - though not exactly surprised - to see that Damian had been holding down the fort at home, and it gave him the incentive he needed to put the boy in the suit for a night's patrol. Gotham needed Batman, and even with the world in chaos, Batman was eternal.
Before that though, Bruce had several other important matters to attend to; foremost among them, making sure Tony's heart was still in good shape. At least in a state comparable to what it had been before the recent incident. Luckily, Bruce had a great deal of medical equipment in the Cave on standby in case either he or one of the kids needed it, so at the earliest opportunity, Alfred was sent to retrieve his friend, while Bruce prepared, reviewing Tony's medical history, just in case.
The RT technology was not only new, it was revolutionary. A buzzword, sure, but Tony kept it a carefully guarded secret. Bruce was thankful he knew as much about it as he did; it would come in very handy now, and if something was wrong, it might even save his life. Making a few adjustments to the machine, he decided a few x-rays wouldn't hurt, either and set that up, too.
