Kate frowned when everyone said they hadn't heard from Eli. It was really worrying.
"We can't just turn it off?" She hadn't bothered turning off TVs because she didn't have one in her room. Although there was one in the hotel she'd been staying at in Gotham. It was really the first time being at home had been a real blessing. She tended to just look up news and emergency broadcasts via the internet. It was quieter and she didn't have to wait for the replays. She could just move the little progress bar back and rewatch things that way.
She was more than thankful for the take out. "Thanks for getting food, Tommy," she said looking at the tall blonde man. It took a second to get used to, everyone's new appearance. She felt awkward and off balance by it.
"So this is us in ten years," she said slightly amused. "Thoughts?"
