Kate felt strange showing up to the hideout after a month of being gone. It felt a lot like coming home, but she had to re-find her groove. She'd stopped by a little over labor day weekend, but then she was off again making plans to meet with other people.
Apparently, there was going to be a world wide crisis to deal with every month or so, so she had to be prepared. She hoped that the others were doing the same, but hadn't bothered to ask. How they chose to prepare and better themselves what not something she needed to tell them to do. If she was going to lead, she needed to be at her best. She needed to help them, and the only way she could do that is to get advice from people who'd been doing it for a while.
They might not have seen her for a while, but they definitely hadn't seen her in her new form. She hadn't bothered to send pictures. She'd arrived in Huntress' costume. The only telltale signs that it was her laid in her scarf and her designer sunglasses. Needless to say, she was more than happy that Helena had decided to take her mask and her cape from her. She took in the sight of the tall blonde man. It took her a moment, before she pushed her sunglasses over her head. There was a bag over her shoulder with her stuff in it, plus a few extra goodies that Nightwing...well Robin had given her.
"Hey," she called out to get his attention. He was not hard to look at, but she wasn't going to start staring. She wanted to stare though. "Teddy?" It was hard not to, when he was still a teen the last time she'd seen him. This entire thing was just bizarre.
