Roy's Favorite TV Show Is Now Special Agent Oso (redarrows) wrote in newalliance,
"Injun? Oh I'm so glad I got to be in the wild west challenge where," Roy cut himself off, and looked down at his bow, and busied himself with making sure it was alright and ready to go. Time and place to climb up onto soap boxes, and this was not the time nor the place. Besides, even saying something nasty about the general store owner would be pointless as the guy wasn't real.
Ollie's plan - be on a horse, got a nod from Roy, and then he shot Clint a look when Clint stared to say something cut off. Attention back to Ollie he said; "All right." He didn't say be careful that was - well not a given. Ollie would be as careful as Ollie always was. Roy would have his back from up above, and trusted that Ollie would be dong his thing and also keeping an eye out for them. Teamwork. Despite sometimes getting cranky with people, and feeling the need to be a smart ass about things, Roy really did enjoy the whole teamwork thing.
"You be the cowboy distraction." He gave a bit of a grin at that - hey Ollie was good at what he did, and sometimes what he did was be the center of attention.
Clint's whistle got an eye roll, and a muttered; "You could just say, hey, lets go." But that was pretty typical, Roy had to have a comment about things. He wished they had some sort of fancy comm system, that would be cool. Or even their cellphones, but he guessed that wouldn't have been period accurate. He turned to head to the general store, thinking that he better not be the guy who got shot at off the roof, and had some sort of dramatic fall.
He got to the back door of the store, and ducked inside. This was kind of cool - and while he had no plans to trade his bow for anything else he did sort of want to get a look at the guns here. Hey, he liked weapons. Even presumably old fashioned looking ones.
