Kate couldn't help but get amused by the little girl kicking Clint. She was actually quite proud that the girl of her. It wasn't because she kicked Clint, but moreso that in this time of crisis, she found the courage to do something that bold.
Despite it all, this was bizarre. If she knew what Roy was thinking, she would have agreed with him whole-heartedly. Teenage Clint was just as bad as grown Clint. "I'm Hawkeye," she informed everyone. Then she pointed a thumb at the other one. "Junior here, doesn't have a lot of sense, so please excuse his lack of manners. He was raised by wolves." She really couldn't help herself.
She was more than thankful when "Speedy" spoke up. She had to keep reminding herself that these teenage boys were actually men. That meant they all had more experience than her and she had to listen to them. It felt strange to not be in charge for once, which she was usually. The really weird part was that she was teaming up with Arrows that weren't Mia. She guessed now was as good a time to meet as any. "Okay, sounds good," she responded Roy when he said they might not have to kill anyone. She wasn't sure how well that would go if they didn't have three thousand dollars, but she'd trust him.
She started to move toward the General Store. "I'm not familiar with Westerns," she admitted. "What would we need at the General Store?"
