Damian nodded dutifully. He had worked most of that out. Some of it was obvious from the moment he'd picked up the cape-- it deceptively weighed more than one expected-- but the other parts he still wasn't entirely convinced about. He still had his reservations as to whether the motif fueled the reputation or vice verse. He suspected the Bat symbol was more intimidating due to his father's vigilant exploits, not because the actual creatures were all that intimidating. They were actually loud, messy and annoying for the most part...
If Damian had his druthers, he probably would have foregone the cape as well. He agreed with Grayson in that regard... and Todd as well, he supposed. (Though the Red Hood did have insipid headgear.) Damian was pretty sure functionality and preference would have been enough to forgo the benefits of superstition but it wasn't up to him. Tonight was about maintaining appearances, which meant playing the part.
"Robin doesn't drive," he pointed out, the tone of his voice more matter of fact than annoyed. Still, he broke off towards the passenger side all the same.
