Who: Jade Nguyen & Roy Harper Where: Roy's Apartment When: Sept. 10th. Before Dawn What: Chesh is having a crisis. Rating: PG
Jade wasn't sure what was happening. She'd heard the man on the TV several times, but when she looked in the mirror it was an image she didn't want to see. She was young. She was frail. She was weak again. Her hair had been matted and stringy before she'd washed it. The shower helped a little, but when she'd wiped the fog off the mirror, she was still looking at the image of the girl she'd left behind.
She'd grown into a formidable woman. She had grown into something that others feared. Out of all the people this could have happened to, she had been chosen.
Somehow her hands had been steady as she pulled on her clothes. They hung loosely off her thin frame. The mask was far too big, but she shoved it in her purse anyway. It would have to do while she traveled. Traveling wouldn't be an issue she knew exactly where she needed to go.

She hadn't bothered calling. She never did call. She didn't even bother to check if there people inside of the apartment before she let herself in. It was reckless, but she needed to see Lian. She needed to know her daughter was okay. The challenges she'd witnessed in the last few days were not safe. She didn't want her daughter to be apart of them and if that creature had brought any harm to her, there would be a reckoning.
"Lian!" Her voice boomed through the apartment, an obvious abandonment of her usual caution. There were no games. They would know why she was here, and whichever god they prayed to help them if they got in her way.
