Who: Midnighter & Tora Olafsdotter Where: The Carrier When: Sept 1st @ Lunch [backdate] What: Discussions! Rating: PG-13
Midnighter had been considering the option for quite some time. The fact that it hadn't come out in conversation didn't surprise him. Apollo and him were comfortable in their relationship. They'd been comfortable with each other for as long as he could remember. That was really the only reason he'd even been considering it. Well, there was that and the fact that it was legal in a couple of states and/or countries. They could literally get married anywhere, right. They could get married in space.
The carrier would be the best venue.
Not that they had a lot of friends to invite, but it would hold a lot of people if they just wanted to come. You know, if Apollo wanted a big wedding. That's if Apollo even wanted a wedding. They'd have to talk about that aspect and that's really if Apollo would accept.
The only problem was Midnighter wasn't really sure how to pop the question. It was a big step in a relationship, even one that'd always just seemed to be there. He didn't know if he wanted it to be perfect or if he just wanted to casually throw the option out there.
He'd been deep in these thoughts when he came across the short, white-haired prisoner turned guest on the Carrier. They were still monitoring her, but in Midnighter's case, it was more to make sure she was okay. She had been visibly distressed more over the damage she'd wrought than the shiner he'd given her. That went a long way in terms of judging her character. "Hello, Tora," he greeted. He didn't often greet people, but he was obviously and quite strangely looking like he wanted to talk about something.
She had a boyfriend. He didn't know how serious or far along they were, but she was also a woman.
