"Yeah, she's inside," Ollie said, and led the way for Bobby, since he was obviously more familiar with the layout.
He also approached Dinah first since, no offense to Bobby, but he was more infinitely and intimately more familiar with Dinah too, not that Bobby knew that. His cousin had kept the identity of her long-term partner a secret for all the years she'd been dating him. It was too hard to explain the billionaire thing, she said. And Dinah happened to be conversing with Connor, Ollie's son.
It made sense for him to be the one to interrupt them.
"Dinah!" the jovial way he called her name suggested friendship, and years of fondness towards her. So did the way his smile widened and a new light came into his eyes when he was around her.
Likewise, her face unconsciously lit up when she saw him. She greeted him with a hug that lasted a few seconds longer than it should have. Than it would have, if she'd known who was watching. She kissed him on the cheek.
When they were separating from the hug, after she'd kissed him on the cheek, that was when Ollie said, "Your cousin's here."
Heh. He knew before it happened that she was going to punch him for that.
