Wanda gave a nod when Tommy answered Teddy's question for her. She went on to clarify. "My brother and I are both mutants. It isn't unheard of for an offspring to have similar powers to someone of a previous generation. In this case, an uncle."
Once again her gaze drifted towards the table. How to go about explaining the baby... it was hard. She was willing to tell her sons about the true identity of their own father because it was something that deserved to know, but the baby's father? It could be argued that they deserved to know that too, but she wasn't sure she wanted to reveal that information.
"No, she was conceived through normal means. The speed of which the pregnancy has progressed was because of her genes." Wanda's let out a deep breath, moving her hands under the table so she could fiddle with the fabric of her clothing. She needed to give her hands something to do. "She's part Jotun."
A pause. "Loki's the father," she finally said, the volume of her voice dropping to a near whisper. She kept her gazed lowered, not daring to lift her head up to see their faces. She gave a nervous chuckle. "Not any more believable, is it?"
