Text sped across his field of view, describing various systems and how to operate them. He raised his arms out to his sides so the system could calibrate. Across him, all of true moving parts of the armour tested themselves. Airfoils flexed, hidden weapon compartments opened-then closed, the firearms cocked.
When it was finished, the system encouraged him to try walking and he took his first few, unsure steps. It was a bit like wearing ski boots. "Better get the camera Tony, little Rhodey's walking." Getting his footing, he looked up, smilIng like an idiot behind the menacing armoured mask.
He his own armour. He might actually save lives AND keep his job. And Tony actually seemed okay with it.
"This one's for you, T." He snapped his armored fingers with a ping, and started gyrating his hips. "Uh huh" he grunted, sliding left across the concrete floor with a grinding sound. "This is some funk right here son- old school" Rhodey continued, strutting over to the Dummy bot. "What you got man? Come on Pinocchio, let's see if Tony gave you some soul. Jarvis, give the kid some beats..."
