Who: Jennifer Kale
When: August 5th (so yes - backdated)
Where: Jennifer's Apartment - Gotham City
What: Jennifer decides it's time to move the Tome back into her apartment. It's just a pit stop though, she knows she's got to find a perma home for the book.
Rating: G
Jennifer let out a sneeze and then waved her hand in front of her face, she hated coming down to the basement / storage area of this place. She felt like the third tier actress in a bad horror flick, the blonde who goes down to the basement all by herself and gets mangled in some horrible way. The first one to die, but her body's not found until the second act when the second and first tier actress realize something bad is going on. Of course, Jennifer smiled a bit as she looked around and made sure she was alone, if anything was lurking there in the basement corners it was going to get one helluva surprise.
The landlord had turned the basement into a general storage area for the tenants of the building, people stashed their bikes here, some people had Christmas trees and Jennifer -- had a locked trunk. Not only locked with regular locks, but also sealed with magic, it was the current home of the The Tome of Zhered-Na, but Jennifer was thinking the book needed a change of scenery. Picking her way through the general mess, she found her trunk and laid a hand on it. She felt the magical seals lift, and then she got out her key and unlocked the mundane locks.
It had been two weeks since her surprise visitor .... Jennifer figured it was safe to move the book back into her apartment. She still owed Satana for that trick with the clothes ... and once she had the book stashed somewhere super safe, she was going to bring the fight to the other girl. But first. The book.
Lifting the book out of the trunk, Jennifer gazed down on it for a moment and then shook her head.
"You are so much trouble, I'd light you on fire but that would probably cause some disaster." She shoved the book under her arm, and closed her storage trunk. Maybe she could teleprot to the Arctic and leave the book there- see what the polar bears made of it. Or maybe - she'd find the people who had done all that magic when the Frost Giants showed up. Contact them and see if they'd help. They were all heroic like right? It's what they did - helping people right? Gosh, Jennifer hoped so.
