She wasn't even allowed to take the blindfold off herself; it fed into her edge of irritation. Sitting still a moment, she recognized that it was not a good idea to be pissed off during this interview, and took several deep breaths, reminding herself why she was here and what she needed to do.
Stepping out of the car, she didn't manage more than a few steps and curious glance around her, noting her surroundings, before the man in question stepped out and greeted her. Privately, she could approve of the military-cut to his clothes, and it made her wish she'd worn her uniform instead of her civvies. But what was done was done.
He was quiet and sober, but still so polite. She nodded as she said, "No, no trouble." At least none that she was going to comment on. "I only wish that this could have been sooner, but the invasion disrupted everything. Is there someplace we can talk?" she asked both him and their host.
