He stepped out from the shadows, showered, shaved, and dressed, but not in his iconic suit. The occasion and topic for discussion was a somber one, and he'd wanted something more formal. Yet, he wasn't human, and dressed instead it something traditionally Kryptonian. It was a little too military styled for his tastes, but of course, she wouldn't know that.
"Deputy Director Hill," he said, his voice quieter than the usual broad and easy tones he spoke in. "Thank you for meeting with me and taking time out of your schedule. I very much appreciate it. I hope getting here wasn't too much trouble for you." He knew she'd arrived in the car, it wasn't the mode of transportation he was referring to. It was Batman's company and undoubted list of regulations for the session. It could be a bit much, sometimes.
