It was only because she was paying attention, looking for an attack, that Dinah managed to lean her head and upper body back, narrowly avoiding getting clocked in the chin by Selina's feet. Too slowly, she made a grab for the other woman's ankles to try to pull her off balance, but she never actually managed to catch her foot.
"Nice." Dinah said sincerely, a fierce grin breaking across her face. Now they could really get down to it. She didn't waste a moment longer.
Swinging one leg around, she kicked for Selina's head, twisting her body to throw the kick out from the hip, putting a good deal of power behind it. It was a straight forward move-- one that Selina would certainly block or dodge-- but there was more to this strategy than what it first appeared to be.
